Concrete Foreman
Sweetens Concrete Services is looking to hire a concrete foreman immediately. Applicant must have at least three years of concrete experience, and a clean, valid driver’s license (CDL preferred). Hourly wage is based on union foreman scale and also includes a company vehicle along with up to two weeks of paid vacation. Union members are not required for application but will need to obtain membership upon acceptance of the position.
Concrete Construction Logistic Specialist
Sweetens Concrete Services, LLC is seeking a hard-working and self-motivated individual to assist in shop duties and project set-up. The shop assistant position will be full-time, non-union and labor intensive. Starting wage rate is $30.00/ hour. Preferred applicant will have construction background.
Requirements include:
- Carry a valid CDL Class A driver’s license
- Able to manage own time
- Perform vehicle maintenance
- Operate construction equipment (for mobilization purposes)
- Pull and park vehicles with trailers
- Includes manual labor, you must be able to lift in excess of 40 pounds
The logistics specialist will assist in the shop with cleanliness, organization, and receiving materials. When job materials are delivered to the shop, the assistant will receive and organize the materials as necessary. He/She will pick up equipment and materials from vendors and deliver to job sites or back to the shop. He/She will return any items or equipment necessary. He/She will stage all new jobs with needed material and equipment. At the conclusion of the project, the individual will ensure that the project is left to the best standards for the customer, including back fill, seed, and straw. This individual must have exceptional organizational skills and be able to complete all daily tasks without constant supervision.
